CHASS IT now makes certain software applications available for self-service installation on managed Apple computers (a computer that you log on to with your UNITY account credentials). The steps below will walk you through the process of installing software via this method.

Apple's Self-Servicing Account (SSA) program is designed for institutions and businesses that would like the convenience of repairing their own products. Program participants (Self-Servicers or Self Servicing Accounts) are authorized to repair only the products they own or lease. Self-service procurement. Self-service business intelligence. Self-service recovery. User provisioning in private clouds. It's a wondrous world for end users today as IT departments roll out tools.

Accessing the Self Service Application
To begin using the self-service system, you must first access the Self Service program in the Applications folder.

To navigate to the Self Service application, first open Macintosh HD (Fig. 1).

Then, open the Applications folder (Fig. 2).

Scrolling down to the bottom, you should see the Self Service application (Fig. 3). Double-click on the program to open it.

When the program opens, you will be prompted to enter your Unity ID and password. After having done so, click Login.

You should then see a list of programs that are available for CHASS faculty and staff. Once you have found the program you would like to install, simply click ont he INSTALL button.

Note. If you don't see the program you're looking for in the list, it may be that it is a program which is under concurrent licensing. Gds punto de ventas plus 5 crack. If that's the case, you will need to install the Sassafras Key Client software first, which will give you the ability to install those software packages which use concurrent licensing.

To monitor the progress of the installation, click on the In Progress tab on the left (Fig. 7). The blue progress bar will indicate how much of the installation still remains.

Once the program has been installed, it will be removed from the list of programs in Self Service (Fig. 8).

Finally, return to the Applications folder to locate and open the program (Fig. 9).

SOU Macintosh users can install a variety of software packages on their computer without the need for administrator access in two easy steps by using our Self Service app.

Step 2 - Locate the desired software package within Self Service

You can either browse to the program or search for it using the built-in search bar. Once you have located it, click on the Install button within its entry and wait for Self Service to indicate that the install has finished. It will show that it is still installing the program in the status screen near the top of the window and by displaying a number on the download button neat the top-right corner of the screen. After the installation has finished, the status areas will revert to their normal state and the application package will disappear from Self Service because it is now installed on your Macintosh computer. You can now locate and run the software like any other program on your computer.
